Raw Meat for the Balcony was formed in 1993 by Matt Carson, Paul Hammond, and Pat Hammond, later joined by Chris Chetland. Known for their fierce live energy and fearless creativity, they became a defining force in New Zealand’s 1990s metal scene. Through a run of legendary shows including support slots for Pantera and Sepultura, 

the band carved out a cult following and recorded a debut album that was never released…until now. Three decades later, that long-lost album will finally see the light in 2026, bringing back a piece of NZ metal history.
